KCWC days 1-3

The last three days, I have spent and hour everyday making clothes for my little guy for Kids Clothes Week Challenge   The first day I spent finishing up his Halloween costume which I will share later.  Yesterday, I didn't get any sewing in because we had guests in my sewing/guest room.  So instead I spent an hour drafting patterns for today and tomorrows project and cutting out some fabric.

Today's project was these adorable corduroy pants!

I made them a bit big since I want him to wear the this winter when it is cold which won't be for a few more months here in sunny Florida.  

They have a grown up looking flat front with faux pockets and zipper fly.

The back has an elastic waist and pockets with decorative stitching.

I am so happy with the way the turned out, I can't wait for my little guy to wear them! I took pictures while I was sewing so I will probably do a tutorial on these another day when I have more time.
