I made these shoes with the leftover fabric from the hat I made day 6. They looked huge when I was cutting them out but when I got them done, they just barely fit his feet! He might be able to wear them for another month or so tops.

I used some utility fabric I got a Jo Ann's for the bottom, it has little non-skid dots on it, perfect for this little mover.

And I love the little button detail! He looks like such a little man in these shoes :)

I LOVE the shoes. Did you come up with the pattern on your own? I've made little girl shoes but could never find a boy pattern I liked. Nice job!
ReplyDeleteThanks! I did't use a pattern but I maybe should have, They are almost too small!

ReplyDeleteThat's probably the cutest design I've seen, and it's great to hear that they are relatively easy to make. Baby shoes are really fascinating. When my son first learned to walk, I let him use soft sole baby shoes since they are durable and comfortable enough to be worn for a long time.
